TagSentry started when our founder tried to set up cookie consent on his own site and found it confusing and daunting. It should take one line and no expertise. Now it does.
Who we are
Shaun Brown
Founder
Shaun builds TagSentry and writes our field notes. He started it after setting up consent and tracking for his own site, and wanted it to be as simple as pasting one line.

How we write
- We answer questions people actually ask, on Reddit, in forums and on sales calls, and link to where they asked.
- AI helps us research and draft. A person checks every fact, every number and every claim about TagSentry before anything is published.
- Every number has a source, listed at the bottom of the page. Where a rule is legal, we say it isn't legal advice.
- We date every page and update it when the facts change. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll fix it.
