Privacy policy

Last updated October 1, 2026. Written to be read.

TagSentry is a product of Orbit Metrics Inc., 1776 N Scottsdale Rd #1182, Scottsdale, AZ 85252, USA ("TagSentry", "we", "us").

This policy covers two groups of people: our customers (the people who sign up for TagSentry) and the visitors to our customers' websites (whose consent choices and tag events TagSentry handles on our customers' behalf). If you have a question, email hello@tagsentry.ai.

Our customers

When you create an account we keep your name, email address, sign-in details, the sites you add, your settings, and billing details. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number. We use this information to run your account, bill you, send you the emails you asked for (like alerts), and answer support requests. Account, sign-in and billing data are stored in the United States.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Visitors to our customers' sites

For these visitors, our customer decides what happens and we process data on their instructions. Our data processing agreement sets out the rules.

  • Consent records. When a visitor answers a banner, we record when they answered, what they were shown, what they chose and how. Each record carries a random consent ID the visitor can see in their preferences. It holds no IP address, no user agent and no fingerprint. Records are kept for 24 months and then deleted, including our audit copy.
  • Event monitoring. We record the shape of the data a site's tags send (field names and types, such as "a number" or "a three-letter text"), and the host and path of each request a tag made. We don't record the values. We do keep event names: your dataLayer event names, and the name Meta, Google Analytics and Pinterest send (like Purchase). Each event carries the visitor's random consent ID. Event history is kept for 14 to 365 days, depending on the customer's plan.
  • Location. To show the right banner, Google Cloud's load balancer tells us the visitor's country and, in the US, their state. We use that and nothing more precise, and we don't store it on its own.
  • Where it's stored. Each site's records and events are stored in the region the customer chose: the EU (Belgium) or the US (Iowa). Our servers run in the US.

If you're a visitor and want to see or delete your data, contact the website you visited: they control it. If you can't reach them, email us with your consent ID and we'll help.

Who helps us

We use a small number of service providers. They get only what they need to do their job:

This website

tagsentry.ai sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tags. If that changes, this page will say so first.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing hello@tagsentry.ai. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email account owners before it takes effect.
