Billing

What each site pays for each product, what counts, what happens when you pass an allowance, and how levels move.

The short answer

Each site pays for each product separately, at the level its usage has reached. Both products are free up to an allowance. Your banner, blocking and consent records never stop because of billing.

How it's priced

  • Per site, per product. Consent and Event monitoring are priced on their own. A site can be free in one and paid in the other.
  • Levels that only go up on their own. When a site's usage passes a level, it moves up and that month bills at the new level. It stays there in later months until you lower it. We email you each time a site moves up.
  • No bundle. Taking both costs exactly the sum.

Counted in decisions: a visitor answering your banner or its preferences. Privacy signals, withdrawals and returning visitors whose choice is remembered are recorded but never billed.

Decisions in a monthPrice

Up to 25,000$9

Up to 500,000$49
Up to 2,000,000$99
Above 2,000,000$99 plus $20 for each started million

Paid Consent adds your logo on the banner in place of "Consent by TagSentry", and accept rates by region and language.

Event monitoring

Counted in events: each thing we saw and stored on a page view, such as a tag firing, a tracker request or a dataLayer push.

Paid monitoring adds the key-event alerts, Slack and webhook alerts, and longer history.

Passing a free allowance

We email you at 80% and at 100% of a free allowance.

  • With a card on file, a site moves to paid automatically when it passes the allowance. You can turn that off for your account. Going back to free is always your choice, and we never undo it.
  • Without a card, Consent keeps running exactly as before. Event monitoring pauses storing until next month.

No spend cap

There isn't one. A busy site moves up a level instead of stopping, and you get one email the moment it does. To lower a level, choose Free on the site's plan screen or ask us. Lowering shortens event history to that level's window.

What billing never touches

Your banner, blocking, Consent Mode signals and consent records never depend on payment. A failed card or a free plan can't switch a banner off. The only banner difference between free and paid is the "Consent by TagSentry" line.
